Total number of Math Classes – 32
Duration of each class – 2 hours

The curriculum for the SH SAT Classes is as follows:-

1) 8 consecutive classes for English will be held at the very beginning. In this, the analysis of English text will be taught. This would include an understanding of structure and organization of text.

2) SH SAT classes will be held a minimum of three times a week.For English and
twice a week for Maths.

3) Students will be taught how to recognize patterns of questions,and other strategies thereby strengthening their approach and ability to solve them.

4) With the basis of having taught the analysis of English text, this will enhance the capabilities in the revising and editing part of the SH SAT.
In analytic reading or advanced reading of Literary prose and text.

5) Strategies to recognise claims and evidence and recognise their veracity will be taught in the approach to answering .

6) Syntax of sentences will be taught along with the rules of grammar and punctuation.

7) Emphasis will be given to improve grammar skills and vocabulary.

8) A series of MOCK exams of SH SAT papers will be held in the last month ,to have the student adapt to the length of time (three hours) and also to analyze the papers,to understand errors made.

The curriculum for SHSAT classes will be conducted according to the agenda given below:

Importance will be given to the basic concepts of mathematics, which include simplification, fractions, rationalization, number system, and elementary geometrical formulae.
Classes will be held chapter-to-chapter, gradually increasing the level of difficulty, and maintaining continuity among all consecutive chapters.
Doubt clearing classes will be held in detail, after each chapter is finished
Importance will be given on not only solving sums, but finding the right method to solve them, which will involve lesser steps, save time and increase proficiency.
Simply memorizing hordes of formulas is not the key, rather conceptual study and logical interpretation will be focused upon.
The last month of this course will be dedicated to solving various SHSAT papers, and timing the tests. Chapter-wise tests will also be covered in the previous months.
Students will be taught how to interpret both word problems and conceptual questions in the most efficient manner.
Students will be taught how to solve each sum, step-by-step, not encouraging guesswork, mental math, and random elimination of options. They will be taught to solve first, and then choose the correct interpretation of the answer which will match the options.
Use of calculators will be prohibited in class until absolutely necessary.
